http://www.microsoft.com/directx/homeuser/downloads/default.asp

If you are using DirectX 7.0 or later and your graphics card supports hardware acceleration ensure the drivers are up to date. Visit the manufacturers web site for driver upgrade information.

If you wish to upgrade OpenGL you visit http://www.opengl.org/users/index.html

Known Limitations

The following table lists the known limitations in this release.

(1) Windows XP and NT users should note that a user must have administrator rights on the computer in order to install, run and uninstall KazooStudio.  If you do not have an administrator user account then please contact your computer administrator or logon with an account that has administrator rights.
(2) Users should not run applications which use DirectX in exclusive mode (for example games) at the same time as KazooStudio.   If this situation arises, KazooStudio may need to be re-started.
(3) If you already have KazooStudio running, another instance of the application will be launched if you double-click on a kzp file. This may cause problems and it is recommended that you close the second instance.
(4) In rare circumstances, some Kazoo models may look corrupted under DirectX. This only happens with certain graphics cards and drivers. A model may look corrupted when changing its position but will look OK when painted using a K3DPaint or K3DLight and also when a high quality image is generated.

To fix this problem, use the Kazoo InteractiveStyleSelector to switch to OpenGL interactive rendering mode as follows:

(i) Locate the InteractiveStyleSelector.exe file under the following folder:

C:\Program Files\Kazoo3D\Common\

(ii) Launch the InteractiveStyleSelector.exe application,
for example by double-clicking with the mouse in Windows Explorer.

(iii) In the drop-down list labeled "Select Interactive Style",
select OpenGL rather then DirectX7.

(iv) Select the OK button to close the InteractiveStyleSelector.exe application.

(v) If KazooStudio is running, quit and restart it.

Models that previously looked corrupted should now look OK.
(6) When running on Windows XP, switching users while KazooStudio is running may result in KazooStudio crashing when you switch back to the user account within which it is running.   It is recommended that you close KazooStudio before switching user accounts.  Alternatively, switch the Interactive Style to OpenGL (from DirectX).  See number (4) above for instructions on how to do this using the InteractiveStyleSelector.
(7) In rare circumstances, selecting "Use As Background" may result in the application not responding to mouse or keyboard input.  If this happens, simply click with the mouse outside of the application and the application should then respond.
(8) In the TextEditor, very occasionally, the text border fill color may change very slightly when you click Done to close the Text Editor.  The color change is very small and should not cause any major problem.
(9) The Model Eraser cursor may leave a trail of spurious pixels with Voodoo Rush graphics cards.
